The City of Marion has extended the deadline for applications for the Executive Director’s job for Main Street Marion through the middle of next week.
City officials say last week’s July 4th holiday and the disruption of the normal schedule during the week caused them to extend the deadline to apply through next Wednesday, July 18th.
The Executive Director of Main Street Marion is a part-time position that could be transitioned into a permanent position as Main Street grows. The position requires someone to be a non-partisan advocate for downtown Marion’s redevelopment.
