Howard County Hall of Legends Inductees Announced

Six persons have been chosen as this year’s inductees for the Howard County Hall of Legends..
Selected are Orpha May Johnson, who became America’s first female Marine.  Reba Harris became an addiction counselor and founder of Gilead House.    Don Smith Senior founded two banks and helped rebuild Russiaville after the Palm Sunday tornado in 1965.
Also chosen were former Kokomo Mayor Steve Daily and Brian Harlow who impacted Chrysler factories in both Kokomo and Tipton.
The Kokomo Park Band was selected for service through concerts and community service over the years.
They’ll all be formally inducted August 24th.
