The remaining members of the Marion School Board last night publicly interviewed ten persons who want to join the board. And replacements for two board openings are expected to be filled during another meeting of the board tonight.
The ten applicants answered various questions from current board members about their background, their involvement in school activities and the challenges that they feel face the school system in the near future.
Two vacancies on the school board came open recently with the resignations of Cathy Moritz and Greg Kitts. The replacements will be annouonced tonight during a special board meeting at 7 o’clock in the Marion High School cafeteria.
