Salvation Army Closes Food Pantry Due To No Food

The Salvation Army of Grant County has been forced to close their food pantry temporarily because of a lack of items on the shelves.
Salvation Army Commander Lieutenant Blake Fewell says the Food Pantry has had a high demand, but low numbers of donations in the past few days which led to the closing of the facility until at least next Monday.
Lieutenant Fewell says donations of food and personal hygiene items are greatly needed anytime, but the summertime is a slow time for donations.  That’s why they temporarily closed the food bank until at least Monday.
