Not only will Ball State get tons of publicity for playing 8th-ranked Notre Dame in South Bend this weekend, the Cardinal athletic program will also get more than a million dollars for doing so.
Notre Dame will pay the Cardinals a guaranteed 1.1-million dollars for Saturday’s contest…a real boost financially for the Cardinals, no matter what the outcome of the game is.
