The Kokomo Board of Works and Safety will hire two new firefighters at Wednesday’s meeting to fill two vacancies on the department.
Ryan Wells and Thadeus Hall will officially join the department next Monday once they are hired by the Board of Works and Safety on Wednesday. They will then begin five months of classroom and hands on training before becoming certified with the department.
The City of Kokomo is also seeking applications for new firefighters. Those interested should contact the Human Resources at City Hall by December 5th.
