Kelch Gets 30-Years For Richards Killing & Robbery

A Marion man has been sentenced to 30-years in prison for his part in the robbery and killing of a disabled LaFontaine man last year.
23-year old Corey Kelch agreed to plead guilty to a charge of Armed Robbery in exchange for a Murder charge being dropped.  Kelch and co-defendant Kaleb Marin were accused of robbing and killing Jordan Richards in his LaFontaine home in April of 2018.   Richards was a paraplegic who had been paralyzed in an auto accident.
Marin died in a car crash before he could be arrested in the case.
Kelch and investigators agreed that Marin was the one who actually killed Richards, but Kelch still received the maximum of 30-years in prison for the robbery charge.
