Kokomo High On List For Automation Risk

A national report found Kokomo is one of the top three most susceptible metro areas in the nation to potential automation.
The Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program found more than a third of Kokomo’s jobs are considered high-risk to be replaced by automation. Another third are labeled medium risk.
That’s enough to rank Kokomo second on the list, with the Elkhart-Goshen metro area coming in third because of its heavy reliance on the R-V industry.
Dalton, Georgia was named the most susceptible metro area in the nation to potential automation to the carpet-making industry.
