Marion police have made an arrest in the April 29th robbery at the Marathon Gas Station on west 9th street.
29 year old Richard Gonzales the 2nd was captured by officers early Saturday morning as he fled a residence at 729 East Sherman Street. He has been charged with armed robbery, resisting law enforcement, intimidation with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
Gonzales was also arrested on active warrants for domestic battery and driving while suspended. He was taken to the Grant County Jail. Bond has been set at just over 30,000 dollars.
