More news in the lawsuit filed by the city of Marion in the case of the former YMCA.
According to the Chronicle Tribune, a judge has ruled that London Witte is responsible for paying just over 25 thousand dollars to cover the cost of the city’s expert witnesses.    
In a related note, the judge accepted a settlement agreement with First Farmers Bank and Trust which removes them from the litigation.  The Converse-based bank agreed to pay the city 300 thousand dollars to end its part in the lawsuit and admitted no wrongdoing.
