I&M bringing power back to Montpelier

Indiana Michigan Power crews and contractors from East Central and Northeast Indiana worked to restore power in and near Montpelier on Tuesday after a strong overnight storm with high winds caused significant damage to poles and wires.
Service has been restored to more than two-thirds of customers who lost power in the area, and crews are working diligently to restore power to about 500 remaining without service.
The storm broke 18 poles near Montpelier.
I&M warns residents to stay away from downed power lines as they may be dangerous.
