Indiana University to vote on increasing tuition

The Indiana University Board of Trustees is scheduled to vote on proposed tuition and mandatory fee increases Wednesday, after a public hearing in Indianapolis.
IU President Michael McRobbie is requesting an increase of about 2.5 percent for Indiana resident students for each of the next two academic years.
He is asking for an increase of about 3 percent for nonresident students for both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. Those percentages are similar to the rate increase requests for other campuses.
