Kokomo to honor Railroad Workers’ House

The Kokomo Historic Review Board, Howard County Historical Society and City of Kokomo officials will unveil a historical marker at the site of one of Kokomo’s oldest homes.
At 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 25th at the Railroad Workers’ House, county historian Jon Russell will talk about how he determined the building’s age and other discoveries made during the restoration process.
The 1850s railroad house was acquired by the city of Kokomo in 2017, when the Industrial Heritage Trail was extended north of downtown.
