Sixty roosters, hens, and chicks were removed from the back yard of a home in Owen County last week.
Two people were also arrested facing charges of animal neglect and cock fighting.
Police served a warrant to search a home belonging to Jeffery Pierce and Kristen Hammond. During the search they say the found the animals with injuries and deformities that are consistent with cock fighting.
