After last night’s thunderstorm more than 2,700 Muncie residents were without power, according to The Star Press.
The most heavily impacted area was north of McGalliard Road and west of Wheeling Avenue.
The Star Press reports that winds were powerful enough to blown the roof off a truck barn into a neighboring student housing parking lot.
