Purchase and sale agreement signed by Jeffersonville CBD plant

A purchase and sale agreement has been signed by a CBD manufacturing company to build its new plant in Jeffersonville.
Layn USA, which is based in Colorado, will spend $52 million to build a plant that is expected to process some 5,000 tons of hemp a year into several types of products, including CBD oil.
It’s not clear where they plan to build the plant in Jeffersonville yet, but One Southern Indiana says the signing of the purchase and sale agreement means they can start negotiations on building the plant in the River Ridge Commerce Park.
