Brownsburg sewers overflowing due to baby wipes

Sewers are overflowing in Brownsburg and it’s thanks to baby wipes.
Brownsburg’s wastewater superintendent Kath Dillon says flushed baby wipes are stopping up the towns wastewater treatment plant.
Those problems could cost you extra to fix come tax time.
Matt Harrold is a plumber with Chapman Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing and he says baby wipes don’t break down like regular toilet paper when they’re flushed.
That’s why he says even baby wipes brands that say they’re flushable, really aren’t and that you should throw them in the trash instead.
