Cop investigates who bit into his burger, investigation reveals it was him

A police officer is apologizing after he accused McDonald’s employees of taking a bite of his meal after he realized he was the one who took the bite.
The officer bought a McChicken sandwich on July 15 at the Indianapolis restaurant.
He later went to eat it at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and found bites taken out. He went back to the McDonald’s, assuming the employees were messing with him because he’s a cop.
He was offered free food but refused; he wanted the offending employee dealt with.
However, an investigation revealed he had taken a bite of his own sandwich and forgot.
