New figures show 2018-19 job growth not as strong as initially reported by the government

New figures are showing that the job market wasn’t nearly as strong in 2018 and early 2019 as the government initially reported.
The economy had about 501,000 fewer jobs as of March 2019 and these numbers mark the largest revision since the Great Recession in 2009.
Experts say a few factors are driving this, the economy didn’t get a huge boost last year from tax cuts, higher federal spending and the likelihood the economy is a bit weaker than previously believed.
