Real Warriors Campaign reminding Hoosiers to look for warning signs in vets for Suicide Awareness Month

September is Suicide Awareness Month and the Real Warriors Campaign is reminding Indiana that military service members are often suffering in silence.
Lieutenant Commander Evette Pinder is asking family members, friends and fellow veterans to learn the warning signs.
The Real Warriors Campaign aims to break the stigma of depression and mental health concerns while urging those who need help to reach out.
According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, over 100 Hoosier veterans took their lives in 2014, adding to over 800 non-veteran suicides.
