For years, students at Purdue University have said they want a Chick-Fil-A on campus.
But Jo Boileau, who is the new student government president and openly gay, this week said the school would send a questionable message to the university’s LGBT community by allowing Chick-Fil-A to open a restaurant on campus next fall.
Some faculty members agree with him. Purdue is planning to add the Chick-Fil-A in a new dorm, the school says.
