Purdue to host ‘Consumer Education Day’ on variety of topics

Purdue’s Grant County Extension office, in cooperation with Grant County Extension Homemakers, will offer three educational sessions during a “Consumer Education Day” at the Grand County 4-H Fairgrounds Community Building this Thursday.
At 9:30 a.m. there will be a session on “Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker” exploring ways to use the Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker.
At 10:30 a.m. a session of “Gift Ideas” will be held to show creative ways to give and personalize gifts while saving money.
At 11:30 a.m there’s a season on “Living with Arthritis” that will cover information and tips on living with and managing arthritis. You will learn about various physical activities, gadgets for the home that could make your life easier as well as food recommendations for those with arthritis.
