Decision made on Note Dame’s controversial Christopher Columbus murals

The decision has been made on what to do with controversial Christopher Columbus murals in the University of Notre Dame’s main building.
WSBT said that the university is creating a new room on the second floor that will have reproductions of the murals, as well as information about the artist.
The original murals, which were criticized for stereotypical and inaccurate images of Native Americans, will be covered.
The new exhibit will be in the current admissions office by 2022.
