Expect potentially record-setting temperatures today

Many cities and towns could be setting new records on Tuesday.
As summer-like weather remains in the forecast for all of Indiana, it is likely many could set a new record for the hottest first day of October ever.
In Indianapolis, the record for October 1 is 89 degrees. The National Weather Service says the capital city could see a high in the lower 90s.
