Ransomware attack hits Subaru of Indiana

A ransomware attack appears to have shut down operations at the Subaru of Indiana plant in Lafayette.
The FBI was in Lafayette Monday investigating the incident.
Subaru of Indiana and Heartland Automotive, which is a Subaru supplier, each canceled second shifts Monday.
Employees were told it’s possible other shifts could be affected, too. The FBI confirmed that some sort of ransomware attack happened but are not releasing any further details
