MHS hosts special show celebrating 50th anniversary of the moon landing

Marion High School’s state-of-the-art planetarium will put on a special show that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first human steps on the moon, which happened in the summer of 1969.
Come learn about the history of humans and space travel — and the milestone that astronaut Neil Armstrong called “one giant leap for mankind”.
The public is invited to MHS for “To Go to the Moon and Back Safely”. The show will last approximately one hour on Friday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m.
Admission is free, but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-seated basis. Come early for a spot on the day of the show. Doors will open about 30 minutes before each showing. Enter MHS through Door 22 at the front of the building. MHS is located at 750 W. 26th St.
