Could an end to the UAW strike be close? Analysts think a special meeting suggests a deal

A deal to end the month-long strike by the United Auto Workers against General Motors might be close.
The UAW has called in the National GM Council, which is made up of union presidents from around the country, for a Thursday morning meeting.
Analysts say just giving them an update is not likely the reason for calling in the local presidents. The strike is affecting GM plants in Marion, Bedford, Kokomo, and Fort Wayne.
