Indy Animal Care in ‘dire need’ of animal adoptions

Indianapolis Animal Care Services said the shelter is “in dire need of adoptions.”
They currently have about 250 dogs in the building and roughly 130 cats, which is ten dogs and fifteen cats overcapacity.
WISH-TV spoke with an Animal Care Services spokesperson, who said that if the animals aren’t adopted soon, they will have to start making some difficult decisions. There is currently no charge for adoptions.
If you can’t adopt, you can still volunteer at the shelter or donate supplies.
