Celebrate Christmas in Converse this Thursday

This Thursday you can celebrate Christmas in Converse.
The town will light the bonfires on Jefferson Street to kick off the Christmas season.
There will be caroling, small business specials and from 5-5:45 p.m. there will be storytime with Mrs. Claus at the Converse-Jackson Township Public Library.
Santa will pick up Mrs. Claus on a fire truck at 5:45 p.m., and they will arrive at Uncle Al’s Breading (formerly Hershbergers Essen Haus) where you’ll be able to visit with them both from 6-8 p.m.
Enjoy cookies and cocoa at the Eastern Woodland Carvers Club from 5-8 p.m.
Santa’s Workshop at City Hall has three ornament-making stations, and you can make chocolate dipped pretzel treat from 5-8 p.m. as well.
The Ugly Sweater Contest begins at 6:30 p.m at the Red Rooster
