Ford recalls 600K vehicles

After determining the braking systems in some models aren’t up to standard, Ford has announced a recall of more than 600,000 vehicles in the U.S.
The recall includes 2006 – 2010 Ford Fusions, Mercury Milans and Lincoln MKZs, Ford officials revealed.
The vehicles, all of which were manufactured at Ford’s Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico, have been found to have defective hydraulic control valves that become stuck in the open position, rendering the brake pedal temporarily ineffective, the company says.
So far, 15 accidents have been reported as a result.
Owners of the affected models should bring their vehicles to a dealership to have the valves replaced, the company says.
