Grant County Commissioners approve central dispatch bids

At yesterday’s Grant County Commissioners meeting, commissioners approved bids for phase four on the central dispatch center.
For furniture, the county will pay around $86,000 for six dispatch stations.
And they’ll pay just shy of a quarter-million dollars to Rex Collins Electric for electric work.
The county received no bids for an HVAC package, so the commissioners are allowing Pyramid Consulting officials, who are the project managers for the dispatch center, to negotiate a price on the open market.
Pyramid Consulting said the center is expected to open as soon as the first of May.
