A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Grant County. According to a press release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Kevin Hairell, the man driving the motorcycle, died in a crash with a car at around 4:30 p.m. Friday, in the area of SR 5 and CR 200 South.
A child was on the motorcycle with Hairell wearing a helmet. According to the press release, the child was responsive when deputies arrived. The child was taken to Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, and their conditions are unknown.
The driver of the car, Arlene Hunt, was also taken to Marion General Hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
