IU Health provides funds to bolster Ivy Tech nursing program

IU Health has granted $8.75 million dollars to Ivy Tech Community College to expand its nursing program, reports WFIE. Ivy Tech will use the money to recruit and pay staff, buy program materials, and fund support services for students. The Indianapolis Business Journal reports Ivy Tech’s nursing program is offered at 18 of its 19 campuses. The school plans to start a program at the 19th campus in Hamilton County next year.
