The plan to ban vaccine mandates in Indiana is halfway to the governor’s desk. The Indiana House yesterday voted to require employers in the state to include medical and religious exemptions in any vaccine requirement. People in Indiana could also show proof of natural immunity as a way to avoid getting vaccinated. The plan next heads to the Indiana Senate, where there is plenty of support among Republicans. Governor Eric Holcomb has said he’d rather leave vaccine policies to businesses, and not lawmakers.
