The first 100 vehicles to enter the Walkway of Lights on Saturday, Dec. 14 will receive free entrance, according to a City of Marion press release.
It’s all thanks to a gift from Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation.
“We cannot thank Rolling Meadows enough for their thoughtful donation of $500 to allow 100 vehicles to visit the display free of charge,” said Steve Wright, Walkway of Lights Committee Board Member. “A gift such as this is what’s so great about Christmas … people giving so that others can enjoy the season.”
The Walkway of Lights is open now through New Year’s Eve in Matter Park. The regular cost is $5 per vehicle per visit.
