A man is in critical condition following a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Shortly after midnight, Marion police officers responded to 246 N. 500 E. to Lot 222 for reports of a gunshot being fired into a mobile home.
Further investigation found that a nearby trailer also had bullet holes. Police went inside the adjacent home after hearing moaning noises.
Inside, officers located 30-year-old Kenny Allison with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Allison was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.
