An accident involving 3 vehicles, one of which left the scene, was reported by Marion Police from Wednesday.
Reports indicate that, at about 9:45pm Wednesday, a vehicle operated by 43 year old Tricia M. Wortman of Marion disregarded the traffic signal at Spencer and Baldwin avenues and struck a vehicle driven by 32 year old Brittany Kellogg of Marion.
Wortman was flown to a Fort Wayne Hospital, while Kellogg and her 2 juvenile passengers were treated at Marion General Hospital for minor injuries. Wortman’s condition was not reported.
Witnesses also reported that a single cab semi pulling a Jet Express trailer struck the Kellogg vehicle, but that it left the scene shortly thereafter. Marion Police are working with Jet Express on identifying that driver.
