Cursive moves closer to being a requirement for Indiana students

Cursive is one step closer to being required for students across Indiana.
The Indiana Senate voted to pass a proposal Tuesday that would require public schools across the state to teach cursive handwriting.
State Senator Jean Leising is a strong advocate of the law as she’s attempted to bring cursive back into Indiana classrooms for years.
The proposal now heads to the Indiana House.
