Local theatre and production company, Hoosier Shakespeare Festival, is kicking off their holiday season by putting on their very own adaptation of “A Christmas Carol”.

Executive Director Greg Fiebig said the show is very fun this year and he is looking forward to passing it along to the community,

“We love to interact with the audience, it’s one of our primary tactics that we use. We have included a lot of Christmas music that the audience will be encouraged to participate in and we have a contemporary song that we’re using as a part of this particular show and we’re printing the words in the program for folks to sing along with if they’d like.”

Shows will be put on three different weekends this year at three different locations. The season will kick off in Marion at Sender Cafe with shows December 2-4 at 7:30 pm and December 5 at 2:00 pm.

Each show will follow local COVID-19 guidelines and masks will be required.
